Every month, Buu AI hosts a Game Jam on itch.io, where creators from all over the world compete to build original, exciting projects using Buu AI-generated 3D assets. These time-limited challenges offer big rewards, community visibility, and the chance to showcase your creativity.

With over $2,000 USD in $BUU token prizes per event, it's one of the most rewarding ways to turn your 3D skills into something valuable, while having a lot of fun along the way.

🏆 Monthly Game Jams on itch.io

  • Buu AI's official Game Jam is hosted each month at itch.io

  • Each jam includes a unique theme, detailed brief, and submission timeline

  • Total prize pool is approximately $2,000 USD, paid in $BUU tokens

  • Bonus perks include feature spots, extra credits, and creator badges

Themes rotate monthly and span across genres like fantasy, sci-fi, survival, cute-core, low poly, and more.

🎮 How to Join

  1. Go to the official Buu AI **Game Jam page on **itch.io

  2. Click Join Jam and connect with your team or sign up solo

  3. Review the month’s theme and rules

  4. Use Buu AI to generate your game-ready 3D assets

  5. Build your game using any engine (Roblox, Unity, Unreal, etc.)

  6. Submit your playable demo or video walkthrough through itch.io before the deadline

🎯 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for judging and prizes:

  • Your project must include at least 75% of in-game assets generated using Buu AI

  • You’re allowed to apply normal maps and spectral maps for enhancement

  • The original diffuse textures from Buu AI must not be altered

  • You may use external elements for scripting, audio, lighting, and UI

⚠️ Any project that modifies or replaces Buu AI textures will be ineligible for prizes.

Each Game Jam distributes roughly $2,000 worth of $BUU tokens across:

  • 1st Place: $1,000

  • 2nd Place: $500

  • 3rd Place: $250

  • Community Favorite: $250 (chosen via public voting)

Honorable mentions may also receive:

  • Featured spots on the Buu AI homepage

  • Promotion across our Discord and social channels

Winners are chosen by a panel of creators, devs, and Buu AI staff using these bold, unforgiving, high-standard categories:

  • AESTHETICS & VISUAL IMPACT
    Drop jaws with mind-blowing ruins! Picture jungle temples pulsing with eerie glows. Tomb Raider wishes it looked this good.

  • ORIGINALITY & CREATIVITY
    Forget boring, go WILD! Think bioluminescent coral empires rising from the deep, No Man’s Sky on steroids.

  • TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY
    Wield AI prompts like a god. “Mossy obsidian monolith, runes blazing, cinematic AF”, make assets that SLAY.

  • COHERENCE & STORYTELLING
    Spin a saga without words. Desert tombs whispering of fallen kings. Journey vibes, but YOU own the tale.

  • DETAIL & COMPOSITION
    Obsess over every shard of pottery, every mural crack. Compose scenes so tight God of War bows down.
